Change Team:

Welcome to the 7/8 grade Blue Team. This team will participate in the A Division of the LL League. Our 2017 season will begin in the first week of March 2017. Practices will be scheduled for Monday through Thursday from 5:30 PM to dusk at Manheim Township High School Field I. As the days become longer, we may push practices back to 6:00 PM. We will not be practicing on Fridays as a rule, but will leave Fridays open for additional practices and games. League games will be on Thursday nights. The Blue team will play first, immediately followed by the White team.

We will have multiple tournaments this year including our Clash for the Cup. Additionally, we are scheduling out of league games against additional area competition. During the season you can see all of these on the schedules by choosing the schedule link. You can also see the rosters once they are updated as we make decisions on team assignments. This will be done in the first 1-2 weeks of the season.

The Middle School program's purpose is to facilitate a love for the game while furthering an understanding of the game in preparation for continuing to play lacrosse at the High School level. This is a transition year where the pace of play, size of players, and commitment all increase greatly. We hope that participating in this transition will better prepare them for their futures in high school and beyond. We support student athletes in participating in multiple sports. Please be aware that you are committed not just to yourself, but to your teammates and advise the coaches of any conflicts as they occur.

Included in your registration will be access to the recommended Winter Skills sessions to be held at Lanco Field House during the Winter months leading up to the season. The intent is to serve as a warm-up to the season, introduction to the coaches, introduction to new terminology, and introduction to the increased pace of the game in middle school. Attendance is highly recommended but not mandatory. There is no cost, it is included in the registration price for the Spring Season. Please refer to the Winter Skills tab on the home page for specifics re: dates and times.
